Cold front perch fishing on lake winnebago can be awesome! Today was proof of that. Not huge fish but nice 8.5-10" perch.

Use extreme caution with the new snow cover as everything will look the same! Fishing is good and should only get better no that there is less light penetration....watch the latest video as well!

Ice conditions are sketchy in this part of the state but the bays and smaller lakes are sitting ok with about 4-8 inches of ice. The panfish bite has been awesome and walleyes and whitebass are a close second!

The latest rain soaks the lakes - 4-8" of water on the ice....Floating portable ice shanties....need i say more. Keep your vehicles off until things firm back up.
