Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

High water and plenty of bait up in the Wolf River has delayed the return of the walleyes to the lakes. They are starting to show up in small numbers from Winneconne to Lake Winnebago and trolling the shallow areas along the shorelines have been the best method for catching fish. #5 Flicker shads, salmo hornets or shad raps in natural colors have been best for me...especially the black and gold.
The cold weather has delayed the panfish bite on the smaller lakes but fish can be found in pre-spawn areas adjacent to their spawning areas. Casting tube jigs or small jigs with waxworms under a float will provide plenty of action.
The smallie bite up on the bay continues to be excellent as well as the walleye fishing.
Please contact me for availability and with any questions you may have.
Thanks goes out to all our Veterans this Memorial Day. God Bless!
